Details:

I didn't want to partially clean it/not take it apart and possibly ruin the internals from sitting afterwards just make look nicer. I rebuilt the engine wanting more power and reliability. I didn't care to take the time do that so left it alone way internals were kept nice and oily. Anyways, the pump is good and nothing wrong with it other than needing some prep for engine installation.

This is an 11mm Subaru EJ OEM oil pump that came off of a 2014 STi EJ257 with 83,000 miles. The engine it came off of had zero issues. If I'm going to clean it, disassemble and apply assembly lube the gears properly rebuild it. As you can see I have not cleaned up the pump.
